Distribution Annual Planning Report

Our Distribution Annual Planning Report is prepared in accordance with the National Electricity Rules, chapter 5. The Report  identifies future, specific limitations on Endeavour Energy’s electricity network and includes planning information for all assets and activities carried out by Endeavour Energy and inform the public of our plans.

Identifying the best solutions

One important function of the Distribution Annual Planning Report is to provide all interested parties and non-network service providers with the opportunity to submit proposals for alternative solutions to overcoming network limitations.

You can view the report here.

Endeavour Energy has developed a DAPR mapping portal to facilitate easy access to information. To access the DAPR mapping portal click the link below;

System Limitation Templates

System limitation templates provide information on network limitations in a useable, consistent and accessible format to assist third parties to propose alternative options to address the limitations. These templates are provided in the spreadsheet below and should be read in conjunction with Endeavour Energy’s Distribution Annual Planning Report.

Zone substation reports

In accordance with Rule 5.13A of the National Electricity Rules, Endeavour Energy has made available historical interval demand data (in kilowatts or megawatts) for all its zone substations not subject to third party privacy concerns. Within 30 business days of the publication of our Distribution and Transmission Annual Planning Report, we will provide 12 months’ worth of interval data based on a fincancial reporting year. Please refer to the Australian Energy Market Commission for further information on this rule.

Data format

The data is contained in CSV (Comma Separated Variable) files, which are bundled in a zipped file for each financial year. Ten years of historical data is available for the preceding years. Each file contains data for a single zone substation. Each row contains the date, the time stamp and the kilowatts (kW) for the entire financial year.

  • have spikes and dips in metered load caused by switching of the network
  • include estimates about demand due to different types of metering equipment at respective sites
  • have been withheld for confidentiality reasons in accordance with clause (g) of Rule 5.13A, such as where a substation predominantly supplies large individual customers.
