Electrify 2515: Australia's First Community-led Electrification Pilot

Join us in pioneering a smarter, greener future with the Electrify 2515 Community Pilot, a groundbreaking initiative designed to help households reduce energy bills and cut emissions.

Spearheaded by passionate locals in partnership with Rewiring Australia, Brighte, and Endeavour Energy, the pilot will accelerate the electrification of homes in the north Illawarra 2515 postcode.

Our vision

To create a sustainable, electric future in a real community today. By supporting 500 homes with subsidies, cutting-edge technology, and expert guidance, we're empowering residents to make the switch to energy-efficient electric appliances.

As part of the pilot, participating residents will receive generous subsidies, through federal funding provided by Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), towards purchasing electric household appliances and home batteries.

This initiative promises not only immediate benefits in terms of reduced energy costs but also long-term environmental impact.

Endeavour Energy will be assessing and monitoring the local grid during the pilot, generating insights about how to best optimise the network for all customers as we manage the smart energy transition.
