2023 Safety Champion

In an incredibly strong field, it was the light of Nick Paduch which shone just a little brighter as he received the 2023 Standing Ovation Safety Champion award.

Nick not only addresses safety concerns as part of his role as a District Operator but goes the extra mile by investing personal time in research and follow-through. His strong leadership and work ethic sees Nick having led the System Operations Local HSE Committee which focuses on improving the safety of high voltage switching.   

The Safety Champion category at our 2023 Standing Ovation Awards recognise individuals and teams that go above and beyond in keeping our people, customers and communities safe.
