In case you missed it, take a look at this story on WIN News Illawarra which shares how we’re partnering with Wollongong City Council and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure company EVX | Sustainable EV Charging Solution to roll out pole-mounted EV chargers on our repurposed power poles.  

This exciting new partnership makes EV charging more accessible at convenient locations around Wollongong, helping to incentivise further the shift towards a greener future on our roads.

Our General Manager, Customer Future Grid Colin Crisafulli says these first pole-mounted chargers will make EV ownership more accessible and affordable as they continue to be adopted by increasing numbers of Endeavour Energy customers. “Our projections indicate that by 2030, there will be over 300,000 electric vehicles within the Endeavour Energy network, and we are committed to ensuring that all our customers can actively participate in and lead this significant energy transition.”
