Outstanding sustainability

We’re delighted to have won the Sustainability Project of the Year in the Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue’s 2023 Infrastructure Project of the Year Awards.  

The community battery is at the heart of our drive to decarbonise the grid by 2035 by creating a two-way energy network that delivers resilient, efficient, and reliable electricity for customers at a cost they can afford. Now fully subscribed, the Bungarribee community battery works by enabling local residents to generate, store and share solar power without having to buy their own home battery. 

We’d like to thank Blacktown City Council, Clr Tony Bleasdale OAM, our retail partner Origin Energy and our Endeavour Energy team for bringing this important customer focused project to life. We really can achieve so much more when we power together.
