Pathway to net zero

We’re proud to be at the forefront of industry in leading the charge to decarbonise the grid and today are pleased to announce a major milestone in securing cleaner, more reliable energy for NSW.

Together with our partners ACCIONA and Grupo Cobra as ACEREZ, we have entered into a Commitment Deed with the NSW Government as preferred Network Operator for the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ).

ACEREZ will deliver, operate, and maintain the transmission network including new high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and related infrastructure in the CWO REZ for the next 35 years.

It’s Australia’s first renewable energy zone and will bring billions of dollars in private investment to the Central West region and thousands of jobs.

Endeavour Energy has a strong track record in providing a safe, reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity supply to 2.7 million people across NSW, and we will draw on this experience to deliver the CWO REZ and set the standard for other renewable energy zones across the nation.
