Powering communities

We recognise the incredible work of first responders to keep our communities safe and connected. 

Through our Powering Communities grants program, we are helping CareFlight Trauma Care provide trauma care education for first responders from NSW Rural Fire Service, St John Ambulance and Marine Rescue NSW Hawkesbury so they are equipped with the knowledge and training they need to provide life-saving medical support while waiting for ambulance crews or helicopters to arrive.  

The hands-on scenario-based training provides participants with experience treating injuries they may encounter during real-life emergencies, equipping them with skills to provide enhanced pre-hospital care that could sustain life before professional medical help arrives.
