We’re partnering with local councils  to upgrade streetlights across the Endeavour Energy network with benefits to last for years to come!

Over the next three years, we are partnering with local councils to upgrade 125,000 streetlights across our network area to boost energy efficiency byu 60% and deliver a 37,000-tonne reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

The new LED streetlights last 5 to 10 times longer, delivering millions of dollars in savings in energy and maintenance costs, delivering financial benefits for the council and community along with critical environmental gains for everyone.

We’ve worked with the City of Parramatta to deliver the largest LED and smart street lighting  upgrade ever undertaken in NSW, with more than three quarters of the city’s 4,000 streetlights now made up of energy-efficient LED lights, saving  ratepayers  $6.2 million over the next 20 years.

In partnership with Camden Council, we’ll be lighting up their area with LED streetlights by the end of 2022 supporting their goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050, saving 2,100 tonnes of carbon dioxide each year and $8 million over 20 years.
