Power update 3 September 6pm
Endeavour Energy emergency crews are working into the night to restore power to the remaining 800 homes affected by yesterday’s damaging winds.
We've made good progress in restoring power to over 44,000 homes and businesses across the Southern Highlands, Shoalhaven, Illawarra, Blue Mountains, and Western Sydney.
The most significant damage still be repaired is in the Southern Highlands in parts of Moss Vale, Bundanoon, Mittagong, and Exeter.
While we aim to restore power to most homes by late tonight, some remote areas may be without electricity overnight due to extensive damage.
Where we have customers’ mobile numbers, we will reach out via SMS to provide updated estimated restoration times.
Safety First: Customers in storm affected areas are reminded to stay at least 8 metres away from any fallen powerlines. Treat all powerlines as 'live' and dangerous, and never drive across fallen powerlines!
