Endeavour Energy maintains safety commitment

Endeavour Energy has published its 2023-24 Electricity Network Safety Management System report showing its ongoing efforts to improve safety across its electricity network.

The report outlines the proactive initiatives implemented through its Electricity Network Safety Management System (ENSMS) to mitigate risks and enhance safety for both workers and the public.

The objectives of Endeavour Energy's safety management system focus on:

• protecting the safety of people working on or near the network
• safeguarding property and network assets to prevent damage
• raising public awareness about electrical safety to minimise risks to the community
• managing the risk of powerlines causing bushfires
• addressing safety risks arising from power supply disruptions to customers.

The report details key risks and trends, allowing Endeavour Energy to track the effectiveness of its programs and initiatives to drive improvements in safety outcomes.
