Partnering with Western Sydney Women

To promote women in STEM and trades, Endeavour Energy partners with Western Sydney Women to sponsor the Future is Bright STEM mentoring program. This program aims to inspire and empower high school girls in Western Sydney to pursue STEM careers and careers in trades.

With shared values and a common goal to support local communities in Western Sydney and empower the next generation of women to have a career in trades, we’ve enjoyed partnering with Western Sydney Women throughout 2022.

We’ve hosted the Future is Bright Girls in STEM and trade program experience days for female high school students in Western Sydney interested in a trade or career in STEM – along with the 2022 graduation event.

Amanda Rose, founding director of Western Sydney Women, presented to Women’s network on networking, building confidence, and being a ‘boss lady’ at the Women’s Job Summit in Parramatta which helped build connections with female talent looking for the next opportunity.

We look forward to partnering with Western Sydney Women again in 2023 to strengthen the pipeline for women into careers in STEM and continue taking action on our committed to increasing our representation of women in trades.
